I mean, the adroits LAN was awesome, as well as the faceit cups. Can't wait for the dreamhack.
Did you see the last faceit tournament ? That final between evil and spart1e was sooo good. Evil is such a beast at duel, it's amazing. Also, remember purri @ adroits LAN ? He was litterally on fire, was awesome to watch. And about cypher, well, he's cypher, his combat abilities are just amazing, he sure knows how to play duel, even vs the best players. Can't wait to see rapha at dreamhack, once again, will be a clash of the titans, cypher vs rapha :O. Just love the russian's playstyles too. I mean, pavel, evil, agent, they are all so good at duel it's mindblowing. The current quakelive overall level is higher than ever, so much skill, literrally. Even in TDM, some people like spart1e, silencep, krysa are amazing to watch. And about ctf, did you see gerppa or l1nkin play ? It's just :O

Quake has everything you need for a fast-paced fps. I mean, the movements, the weapons, the maps, everything is so perfect. The game is so well balanced, the skill gap is so high. It's a 1999 engine, but still work amazingly good. And it's far from ugly aswell. I mean, there are a lot of different and cool models like doom, ranger, keel, xaero etc, the art desingg of quakelive, altho being a bit old now, is still very good. Name one game with as much different models as quakelive... there is only UT2k4. And about the maps, it's amazing that not a single map looks the same, and play the same. Overall quake 3 live is still a beautiful game. Did you see the last agent frag movie ? Just beautiful. I like everything, thhe graphics, the pace, the skill, there is no other game as complete as quakelive for such a thing. Skill, style, beauty.

The community is also awesome. I mean, esreality is so nice, you have everything you need there, and you can troll as much as you want. For me ESR > teamliquid. I just love the fact that most of the people here at ESR are hardcore quakers (or trollers), and there is a lot of different levels. I mean, some people are still noob at the game, but it's ok, they can troll :P. ESR has been there for so long now, it's almost like a religion. ESR is just like quake, it will never die :).

Also, i love the fact that quakelive has so much to offer. I mean, if you like team based ggametype you can play TDM or CTF. If you like 1on1 you can play duel. If you want to have fun instantly without too much thinking, you can play CA. If you love the movements, you can play defrag. Everyone can be pleased. It's for all the different tastes.

Quake will never die.
