Oh... well combined with my Saitec Eclipse board it's 89cm wide, and DH specs are 83cm :D Oh god oh god, how will I ever be able to scale 6cm's off my 40 at the pad... :D Actually I don't think they're all that harsh anyway. Now, a bigger problem could be that my monitor + keyboard is way deeper than the DH specs aswell... :( Blah, blah. All small problems compared to going from Norrland to Jönköping. :)

Too bad you dindt compare it against the old Qpad versions.. But still a really nice review!

That was my initial plan, however the old QPAD Gamer I have here is rather worn down and heavily abused and would not have given a representative comparison.

The titan pad is not that different to the old Gamer series either.

like i said, its amazingly smooth almost like there is 0 friction
but it will take some time to get used too aswell, since you can change direction instantly

its slow, but after playing a couple of games you feel more adjusted too it
and i think its worth it, it gives more fluid and stable aim in my opinion

Don't negelct the fact there's a huge placebo effect when you test the pad or any game settings the 1st time in game. You only can judge after a little week of playing, either it increases your performances or not.
However, having both old and new versions here, the CT one is quite smoother, with almost no frictions at all.
There's also a big difference between the 1.5 and 4 mm ones. The 4 mm one is good for games like ET/CS where no big moves are needed, the aim feels very stable on it. The 1.5mm one is better for games like Quake or UT , where you often need to do some 180's, it's also great when you got a very nervous aim with a lot of aim moves.

read a review some time back about this pad, on a danish cs site. and they absolutely loved it... have in mind to try it, but don't know if the smooth surface is something for me, since that would be I should probably lower my sens, while the QcK+ I got now seems fine, but okay, I have had it for ages now.
So gotten quite used to it

There is one and in any case its a big pad.

If you like to use a G5 mouse with very low sens in a game like Q4 then this pad isnt for you as it loses track pretty easily. I still find the Titan to scan best if you use a G5 with low sens.
Allthough the optical mice like the Mx518 work fine on it : )
To me the G5/Titan combo still fill better than the Mx518/Qpad CT :s

The first QPAD was pretty __SHIT__ (in comparison to the QCK+ f. e.) so I don't think I would be liking this one either.

Imo its like this QcK > 5L > Qpad CT and because i prefer glass, Icemat > all ;)

ye i bought a QcK bt i realiced i wont my icemat back!.. so i use my oldie.. because it is the bestest...

Because i got a new mice (1.1) and putted skatez on it, and i was unable to use the icemat for it, because it was to high from the surface... but now i have the 3.0 again (BEST GAMING MOUSE EVER) and i can use the icemat again, the little transparent thing!

This mousepad's life-span is like 1 year, after that the middle of the pad wears off and it's getting slow like hell.
