totally disagree i dont see why xbattle is better, q4max is 10x smoother here and better fps thats all i need :)

There are no advantages to using XBM anymore bar the "CB CONFIG IN BUILT" and the "THEY DO EVERYTHING WE ASK ZOMG" reasons.

XBM will lose the mod battle due to lack of interest in Q4 TDM anyway. Besides that, there is a lack of interest in Q4 as a whole at the moment. We need a community before we can go on argueing about what the community should play.

It's idd alot smoother than XBM and thus I/my pc like it better :p

i can't help it i play on a mighty FX5900

you can play on a 9800PRO RADEON ........ and even get 63fps with a good pc...

i prefer q4max, too
and only playing 1 mod for everything would be great as well
but the last xbm release is kinda old compared to the current q4max release aand the 1.3 patch is coming, so maybe we shouldnt decide this issue right now

the new q4max is really better than the old one, but as i watched the demos of ISC i got some really annoying bugs like instead of an explosion the rocket hits the wall/floor and a green dot appears
or sometimes the rocket creates white things in the air or the grenade launcher sounds like the rail.

and the biggest bug in demo watching: i cant watch ANY demo of ISC, it says the map doesnt exist, but i got it.
then i tried to start the map manualy as a server and after that start the demo. it worked, but just on placebo effect.

and theres another thing you have to think of...

q4max is 1 version higher than xbattle.
wait of xbattles new release and lets compare then ...

a) use demo_enforcefs 1 (the green dots).

b) to use the q4max demo browser as it should solve the "need to run a server" issue too.
