I watched up to 17-0 and got bored. Plus cooller made plenty of mistakes which someone like Toxic would have punished him for.

I watched the toxic demos (Only Galang but whatever!) and all I could say was impulse was outsmarting toxic a lot but just getting beat down by toxic's aim every time, errors in judgement/predictability that cooller would be far more capable of punishing.

And as we all know cooller comes into his own in the later stages of tournaments anyway.

I agree with the part, that the demo is not your average nail biter ;-)

But I think that it is worth watching anyway, as it demonstrates how to master this map, in an impressive manner.
Hunter obviously is not a bad opponent (he beat cooller on phrantic)

I disagree. I think the player with the strongest mind at the moment wins (e.g. confidence, concentration, etc.). The differences on the highest level are often very tiny, so it all gets to who can keep his mind straight.

maybe something along the lines of genetics in regards to how one thinks is much more important, (Olympic and elite athletes with their physical characteristics/propteries for example) but gaming is nowhere near that stage. Hell... does genetic advantage exist for the way one thinks in terms of thought process carried out for playing games etc?

As prozac said, practice makes perfect but how much talent you have determines how much practice you need to put in to become good/the best/etc.

anyway, imo the demo was not that impressive, some nice frags and the smooth movement from cooller but that is nothing new isn't it?
watched the demo from d1ablo before, playing Noble on Galang, that was much more fun to view imo :) (even when it was nearly rg only :P )

The little detail is that both those players would probably lose to hunter.

There's still a slight difference between sitting in front of your pc , headphones on high volume , playing q4 - having a pc in your work area with plenty of other people around.and occasionally typing in some stuff
