if you want some more info/reviews give me a shout! ive personally owned the 1030, 4D and S&S and all of them id recommend, more so the s&s than the 4D but thats just my personal preference.

was gonna go for the mba, but the func1030 i have no is quite thick, and i think an aluminum version would prob be bad for my wrist!

likeing the steelpads tho with the 2mm thickness, its just wether i want rough or smooth!?! im using rough atm, but thats only cus my smooth is very dirty, id like an option to have both! (like the funcs!)

the steelpad 4d does give you the option to have both =)

one side is smooth and the other is rough. the pad itself is held to your desk by a sheet of grippy rubbery stuff that it sits on. stacked ontop of each other, the pad has a height of about 2-3mm
