well I lock the back wheel and the rest of the bike so at least 2 of 3 parts are locked :( guess I'll walk around some today and check whether it's been thrown in shrubberies or sth :<

I once had some guy try to steal my (rather cool and expensive) front light - but apparantly he only managed to unscrew the front glass... but instead of throwing it away like most people would, he left it right on my saddle so I could assemble it back together.. pretty neat.

Though I can't see what someone would want a front wheel for - probably a joke by one of your mates.. or ex-mates.

nop, I know what pretty much any of my mates did at that time (most are home and not at uni anymore) and I guess it's been some idiot trying to be funny, doubt it's much use for him (except some other guy had his front wheel only locked and had the rest of the bike stolen :D)
