sng has way less variance though, just look at the standard deviance lol

you shouldn't really play too often either, especially long hours everyday. just take a break and it'll come back

maybe you're just unfamiliar with the situations you're in. Tbh, you should rather read twoplustwo forum sections relevant to your stakes and game rather than a book. A lot of the books tend to give irrelevant advice which can be hard to realize if you haven't played for long.

well, winning 3 out of 5 10player sngs is unreasonable expectations in the longrun. I don't really know anyone who only plays sngs, mostly it's just to complement cg's.
I might make bad calls if im unfocused for like an hour or two but I've never gone a week except when I was new.

I suggest you go read twoplustwo forum posts about sngs... it will yield more than asking here or reading random books.
Sometimes you kNOW when the fold and call but just don't have the follow through and need to be re motivated.
