and the most important things in this is the subatomic particles vibrating in the 10th dimensions, and how when we observe an object, we reduce the probabilities of its placement. And the whole relativity bit.
We are traveling in the 10th (9th?) dimensions atm.
I've been trying to convince my friends for months that you cannot change the reality around you because you are a concious observer :( Atleast they now know that WTBDWK is bullshit.
I used to think that I was a philosopher or some sort, but I have now realised I hate the fuckers. Their motto should be "You can make any argument stupid."
Maybe I am too skeptical, but I really only believe in reality (like real reality!)
(Really really!)
(Like there is no god, you cannot change the world around you - by thinking about it atleast - and there is no such thing as ghosts.)
Dude, just becasue you're studying Philosophy does not make you a philosopher:/
Half the dopes I know went on to uni and studied thing's like physics, or Philosophy or law , and about a handful of them actually stuck it out and are earning money in that field.
TBH my take on a true philospher is someone who does not need to go to university.
Just someone who ponders on life (and experiences it in full) and is able to come up with insightful explanations and conclusions or theories (that regular people will hear and instantly go "yes!") without being influenced by a curriculum/politics/money etc, as you risk having your views skewered by studying.
I consider anyone who's naturally wise to be a potential philosopher and IMO the best conclusions come from people who live their lives outside the box.
When you get a degree in Philosophy you always risk failing your initial objective of becoming a real philosopher and someone who is simply qualified to pass on the curriculum you were taught and continue the cycle to future generations.
Although i can not call myself a philosopher on the background of my choice of study, i'm for sure a philosopher by nature or by heart (if my philosophical thoughts are good or bad is another question) and have my own views on almost every topic i'm learning about. And I've to say that what I've come across so far is a mix of your description. While there is a lot of "academic" philosophy or what to call it, a playground for philosophers if you like, there is also a good 4-5 theories behind almost every "unique" thought i had, which was pretty .. strange for me to get my head around - as none in my close proximity of friends ever uttered anything remotely close to it. And these theories are not just ideas, they are fully developed thought through ideas that people have spent many years of their lives thinking about.
So, sure; you may have natural philosophers that develop a sort of "folk-philosophy", and they may have popularity or be described as wise, but most of their ideas are probably developed more fully in some academic philosophers work already - philosophers that have read what has been said before. And although that theory or whatever may be harder for people in general to grasp when written for other philosophers, it is in all probability more fully developed, explicit and precise.
I never thought philosophy was a study actually, until a saw it - i was amazed, i had never thought that was a possibility. I was always thinking maths or physics, probably why i still considered physics back when i had to chose, my basis for choosing study had changed and my intuition lagged behind.. My thinking before philosophy was to take physics to get a cleaner understanding of the world, a philosopher without knowledge of physics does not have much to say in my eyes, he can always be wrong in his assertions; you have to be "learned" no?
You seem to think of people along the lines of poets and prophets. Anyway, I think most people that "hitherto" have been called philosophers would've been learned about the sciences and general philosophy if they were alive today.
u made me think of what albert said “Wisdom is not a product of schooling but of the lifelong attempt to acquire it” (yes we're on 1st name terms). I basically agree with what u said and that's a weird feeling. 1st time for everything i suppose
since souls exist outside the scope of your dimension (and possibly in the tenth dimension, as this video muses on), they are able to guide your existence.
once you associate the soul with a person, then they are free, and determinism no longer exists.
I believe in souls, that's why it's important to live a good life with no regrets (and as little guilt as possible) cuz I have a theory that when you die it's just like a massive dream that you never wake up from
I do however scoff at religion and feel bad for people brought up in societies where they are force fed bullshit by people who had the same done to them.
There is no greater crime than warping a child's mind and forcing them to believe in false entities.
Partly why the Western values are so different to East and middle east.
it isn't unprovable, it's just impossible to prove it.
was that the philosophy you were talking about?
besides, it's all about M theory these days. string theory takes all kinds.
string theory would be heavily evidenced if the gravitron were found, actually, and the bigger issue is that it isn't unprovable more than it is that it's not provable. you see?
To elaborate, you cannot say we are travelling in 10 dimensions, you should say, we might be travelling in 10 dimensions (or 6, or 11, don't you wish they would decide? ;)
It so sad this site allows people to post pictures of unflushed faeces and cocks in their avatars.
I mean the guy's obviously got serious mental health issues.
It's not even funny, it's just worrying and creepy given the age of people that read this site.
