If you exercise regularly but decide you want to over eat, the extra 50 kilos won't make that much of a difference to your health. If you put on the extra 50 kilos and just sat around all day, you'd be in serious trouble, mainly because of the extra strain you've put on your heart: with exercise, your heart grows stronger, it'd be able to cope with the excess weight.

How Thin or fat you are tells you almost nothing about how healthy you are, and it's kind of sad that people think that way.

I don't agree. 50 kg makes all the difference. The 'perfect figure 2007' is bs, I agree, but when your bodyfat grows over a certain percentage it's definitely unhealthy. On the other hand, skinny people that eat a lot of shit but don't grow fat are unhealthy too. Overeating makes your body cope with excessive amounts of all kinds of shit (depends on your diet) + it makes you fat.
