This has probably been thought of before, but wouldn't it be nice if you could have a built in item timer when watching a game? There was a lot of talk about making quake more spectator friendly a while a go (the infamous 'clap' button), but something as simple as this would help a lot.

in UT2004 we had CompaMut, it would show specs, and utv viewers when items timed. The problem was that CompaMut also had much other stuff, like a mini map showing the players positions, a list of players, their health/amor. Showed if a player used adrenaline, who had the amp.
the idea was brilliant, but was it was too much.
So, be careful you don't overdo it, keep it to the most simple things (times and how much health/amor both players got, should be enough)
