great frags as expected from z4, breaks that showed his pics, his head on sarge model, lil cool things like that.

cons: low quality and short length for a huge file size, not music for a frag vid, odd pics of rappers, no quake sounds, lack of effects, config (black dot crosshair is hard to see, default cpm hud), didn't really understand the part about the ball mouse, i don't think that was what made him good.

the vid shows z4's greatness and that makes it a keeper, though i can't say it was a very good tribute to him, unfortunately. 7/10

Watched and enjoyed it. ZeRo4 was a huge player, considering those were mostly frags within tournements we just have to honour that player. I liked his gamestyle, there has always been something new in each game, whether it was a successful manhunt or a tactical shootdown executed by superficial aiming.

Cooller might be more successful, however he did not manage to kick fatal1ty's ass (although, I don't exclude, he was not capable of doing so) . That game back then, might be comparable to a beat-down of toxic by any player in the near future..

didn't even like 90% of the frags. i mean midair rails, come on

erm, mid-air rails...yes there were a few...but, if you missed the millions of micro-rail shots (i.e. pixel rail shots) he made, you're blind!!!

Great movie. I liked the Southern Cali Z4-Compton theme.

Since so many people are complaining about various things, I'd like to add I liked the graphics, HUD, music and frag selection. Not seeing the crosshair is slightly odd, but adds emphasis to the rest of the view. Everything is clear and there aren't pointless effects. One or two of the songs were out of place, but it was fun to hear something new. Thank god you didn't fill the vid with nu-metal. It was also nice to see some new (old) shots, instead of just the same pointless dm17 or ra3 frags over and over.

10/10, because I'd love to see more vids like this. In the same category as Just Quake and the Qcon 2k2 recap with the Run DMC soundtrack.

The frags are fantastic - especially given the quality of opposition they are against. Can't remember the last fragmovie i've seen where 95% of the frags are against the worlds best players. There's a bit of humour in there, the movie doesn't take itself very seriously.
Any whine about the music can go jump off a cliff. There's not really any effort to sync the frags to the music - but so what?

Does a movie need to be full of blinding + distracting editing, syncing every beat and stroking egos to be good? I've grown pretty tired of all these sexed up movies and its refreshing to see a fragmovie that is actually about a great player, amazing frags and memorable moments.

music is essential part of frag movie (and any other movie), it sucks if there is no music and it sucks even more if there is something crap like this had.

frags are always nice but in the movie there has to be always something else. you think horror movies are as scary if there wouldnt be a soundtrack? or any other movie that has no music / soundtrack to boost the feeling of movie... i think not. Star Wars would be pretty dull without some of the nice musics on background from time to time :D

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The frags are highest class possible as I see it, and that is what matters the most. The choice of music was a little strange to say the least, but honestly I kind of liked the diversity this has. I'm a bit tired of the traditional matrix theme with linkin park soundtracks style of fragmovies. Kudos to the vid maker for actually having the guts to try something else. Editing arent on par with some other videos, and in-game sound could have benefitted it, but still, It was good enough in my eyes to not pull down the overall entertainment value because the choice of frags, were good enough that I could accept it. I give it a 9 :)

No offence, but this movie would have been good if it had been released 4-5 years ago. But today it's bad.

- First the good: nice zero4 frags.

- Now the bad:

1) You use RAW format for sound, making the audio track size freaking 120 mb when it could have been 20mb had you used mp3.... Honestly that's such a newbie mistake that I find it amazing this is your FOURTH quake movie.

2) The visual quality was REALLY poor as well considering the +500mb size. Consult someone about xvid settings or perhaps use x264.

3) No in-game sounds. Again, this would be ok 4-5years ago, but today in-game sounds are mandatory.

4) Insanely poor soundtrack, but don't know if that's some German humour I don't understand.

Nobody is asking for special effects just for a better quality (it's too blurry the way it is now - not 2k7 standard).

Moreover, you could have twice as good quality with half the filesize. Ask some experienced moviemaker to help you with codecs and compressing (such as Camping_Gaz or Shaolin guys to name a few).

-NO INGAME SOUND

-there are no UT sounds to be used in a q3 movie....
-quality/size is inhuman (!half a gig)
