I loved the stuff you produced last year Roger! This year looks perticularly interesting with ETQW and quad damage, so it should hopefully help ya out with getting some interesting vids.
Would be nice to get some interviews or coverage on the QW players since they havent really been in the spotlight as much as they've deserved on ESR :)

Last year it seemed like doing "group interviews" (see forever + lost cauze) is a good idea so maybe you should try to do some of those again - from the top of my head I'd say Tox and Fox would be pretty cool, ask them about their preparations, FPO, Asus Summer Q3 2o2 etc.. gonna be good, looking forward to it!

Edit: And if possible try to not ask the same questions that everybody asks but be a bit more player specific, e.g ask fox about how he feels about how he does at most events compared to what he thinks he should/is capable of. (Just an example)

Do you feel that the much touted Mega Texture technology is a bit of a come down compared to the past technological innovations of idsoftware?

Given that only a small % of your userbase will "have the eye" to notice and appreciate some sort of procedural generation along a U.V. basis, it appears to me that it's going to be a feature from id which initially looks great then quickly forgotten about among the masses.

If the intention of such a feature is to free up memory so you can focus more on gameplay, will it be so much more that the savings will be noticable over what everyone else is doing?

The Doom 3/Quake 4 engine has a very universal, embossed look about it.

Given that there appears to be so much emphasis on texture technology, has id done anything to get rid of the universal emobossed look which was a trademark for the Doom 3 engine?

In other words...Wil more control be given to artists and designers over the surface properties of a surface which the texture is mapped against?
