Crysis looks better, cod4 has really slow movement, wall shooting and randomly spraying weapons. Crysis atleast has lower recoil.

doesnt matter, at least the crysis team are trying new stuff that would add variety, skill diversification and creativity to a genre that tragically lacks all of those attributes.

a man with sense ! also very education about some of the weapons and technology used as well such as the laser sights only seen in night vision so u know were ur allys are aiming, with the light beacons on thier shoulders to lower friendly fire, and the awesome artillery plane, AC130 i think?

Do you think most people will start playing CoD4 instead of CoD2? Or is it more likely it will split the scene totally.

In no case! I had so much fun in playing Call of Duty 4. I don't want to play Call of Duty 2 anymore and I feel like a little child before Christmas. This game is a great replacement for Call of Duty 1 and 2. It's a mix between the first two titles with a bit of Counter Strike. The whole scene will move to Call of Duty 4 and the competition gets bigger and bigger.

Do you think it will draw attention from other scenes?

Call of Duty is already a brand that every gamer knows. CoD has an excellent reputation and punkbuster is already included. That means the competitive gaming can start directly after the release. Because of the nice mix of the first two parts and Counter Strike, I guess many people will like it. This game will set new dimensions.

thats not the point i was trying to make. Generally, from the CoD games ive watched, it seemed fairly campy, with lots of holding your position and holding your crosshair in one particular position waiting for somebody to move into it. Now he doesnt even have to come out from behind cover to spray n prey...

COD4 and Crysis mp is going to be as equally shit. Loved COD1&2 MP (never got to play 3) but this just sounds like a total fuck up, what with the air strikes if you get 7 kills and stuff like that. Crysis is just meh.
