You allways have all quads regens and if we see you pick them you never meet resistance to get them. All your rather useless caps - nothing special happens that would guide anyone else than noobs to get to know a map :) You never meet resistance on 9/10 caps you show.

When you are saying that the movie "is an intro to quake" you are not quoting that from what the goal of the movie really is, you are quoting from a list of "features" or segments that the film contains: "This motion picture contains everything new players need to know to improve, the truth about the biggest hero ever, even Quake 4 has it's part, and much more!"

You could as well be saying that the movie is all about the "the truth about the biggest hero ever" (just take one of the those things and proclaim that the movie is all about that).

Im frustrated couse the movie could have been really good but it fails on all counts. And yeah, the caps and frags aint special at all (why do the first opponent in the beginning just stop moving after he get hit the first time?).

You're bending the words and trying to say that anyone can say the movie is for this purpose or that purpose; but if the movie is for 'new players'; IT'S FOR NEW PLAYERS AND INTENDED TO INTRODUCE THE GAME.

p.s. I wasn't as frustrated about the quality of the movie, I was more frustrated about the quality of the audiance who gave it a 1/10 when that's just RUDE.

As I mentioned - he did say himself that he was "the biggest hero ever" and "contains everything new players need to know to improve" has been edited 10th septemper - before it was not for new players :)

Besides that - besides a guide how to find your way home with flag on different maps - the movie really doesnt show anything new players could use to get better.

One of the best examples is where we first see 2 min where he moves around picking up powerups and weapons - but he also used sound for that clip and Im hearing the enemy capping twice while he moves around playing ego style. Then he attacks with regen quad and ofc he caps with that. But if we add up that 3 min clip he just costed his team a 1-2 score in 3 min :)

If you became a better player from this movie - I would also surgest some demo watching for the future of your gaming career before you also crown yourself "the greatest CTF player in the world"

- almost everything quake related, and the music.
- boched up the movie clip and picture-in-picture idea (but nice try!)

liked:
+ q4 angst in video form
+ good camera work on some of the clips (should do it more often instead of first person vq3 "jogging")
+ mixing tv/movies with game clips made the whole thing quite accessible to non-quakers. something like this could be a great youtube vid to spam around to attract new blood

i wish you used the movie clips to properly separate the sections of the video.
for example: when you have the battlestar galactica shootout and you write duel on the screen, have some good quake duel clips follow! and THEN show the movie clip for tdm, and then some tdm clips. that would be beautiful.

a copy cat of this vid with proper q3 cpm clips (and good music) would so easily take my 10.
