1st map: t6, 2nd: t4

Playback: Go to Quake Live beta page, start botmatch, bring up console with ctrl+~, type "\demo cypher-z4-t6(POVcypher).dm_73" without the quotation marks.

May need a few tries, for me it worked after crashing 2 times.
+scores (TAB) will make the demo crash, at least for me, so resist your reflexes.

If memory serves me right, the t6 demo ends at around 13 minutes. Sorry.

edit: I accidentally chose "two aside" as the mode, which translates to 2on2 appearently. Fixed, but still shows as the former on frontpage.

It seems like QL is even more rail heavy :o is the railgun reload time a bit shorter than in Q3? Because I have the feeling that it is.

QUESTION: Can anybody finally tell my why the hell they've changed model size in QL although hitbox (imo) is very the same as it was in Q3? I mean now all models are SO SMALL that I think I will have to change my fov (using 110). It's ok in a close range, but I can barely see them in mid-long range, and there's noting wrong with my eyes.

Why is it so hard to make the game play demos from its directory or a "demos" directory placed in it? But on the other hand a modern game must come with modern directory structure.

whatever happened to ztn? you know, q3's best map?

Quake Live has no custom map support yet, but id Soft assured that there will be at some point, as well as some way of incorparating mods(based on popular demand and playtime in test runs). This was said in some of the interviews given at Quakecon.
However nobody can be sure when this will happen, and my personal guess is that it is probably not going to happen before an official release of the game - various different gameplay modes and mods might be overwhelming for the "casual crowd" they are aiming at with QL after all - but hopefully id Software will pick the right time for those features to be added.

Anyway, it's just an educated guess. We will all have to wait and see how the game shapes up.

i checked the location for the quakelive directory and all I see are files; no folders at all. I thought it was a vista issue but it does the same thing on my xp os at work.
