first off, keep your MMA shit away from here go make your own bullshit thread (no MMA hate, I just think you're an utter fucking cunt).
The money grabbing fishnet clad whore that is Oscar De La Hoya (I do love him mind) is fighting the ever so awesome Manny Pacquiao tomorrow night.
Oscar has major advantages, weight, reach and height and a fuck load more experience (Manny has none) at fighting at this sort of weight. That said it's always much more of a pain trying to make the weight when coming down as apposed to coming up, even more so when you're not the most genetically blessed of athletes which De La Hoya isn't and on top of that he is past his prime a touch overrated.
Pacquiao is young, coming into his prime fought a ton of hardcore Mexicans, beat them all made an utter fool of the lightweight champ in his first lightweight match and is easily pound for pound king (any of you fat idiots thinking Calzaghe is the king then you need shooting), and beating all those Mexicans makes him hard as fucking nails.
So who is going to win? Bookies are going with De La Hoya for obvious reasons. For me it's impossible to call, if Manny can handle the weight and punching power (De La Hoya got insane left hook) then he has a huge chance of winning but that depends because if he is to win then he'll need to have maintained his speed and footwork with the huge weight increase because he not be hurting De La Hoya with power. His lightweight jump was fine, in fact that was rather insane but this is a huge jump in the world of boxing.
Watching 24/7 has shown Manny has lost little (if any) speed or power but doing that over a series of proper rounds is an entire different story. :( That said, I hope Manny fucks De La Hoya over and can really perform in this weight class because the opportunity for future fights will be off the hook.
