I don't know of any one emulator that can play everyhting from early console games to arcade games etc ...

wow, i did this like years ago...

u can download every game for every system in a couple of hours, up until u get to cd based consoles then it takes a bit longer, but all snes games are like 11gig, genesis is about 7, mame about 25gig or so.

nah, they're much smaller than that when compressed properly if i recall. goodtools/goodmerged whatever it was called.

758 super nes games = around 990 meg (I think that was every game relesed in the USA too)
(32meg cartridge = 4-6 meg after they convert it)

Megadrive similar results.
