AFAIK It's considered potentially harmful and capable of becoming pandemic because it came from animals. That is a sign of how well it can change and in the worst case adapt, for example to drugs.

The media has hyped this way too much. They were flailing around with the word PANDEMIC before it even left Mexico. It's not a big deal.

there are still a lot of question marks about how much swine flu has spread, it takes time to collect information and organize it, so no one really knows how bad it is now, let alone could be.

many seem to think just because sars or bird flu didn't materialise, that this won't either or that 'people get flu all the time' forgetting this isn't seasonal flu.

You're seriously supporting your argument with 1000 deaths? That's about 5% of the deaths caused by the average seasonal flu each year. Additionally, even the CDC said that the swine flu would peak in mid-October, which has already passed.

The vaccine, however, has already infected, killed, and permanently disabled dozens of people that would statistically have an exponentially better chance of no issue without taking it. Even Obama, his wife, and his children aren't getting the vaccine.

Oh man, 1000 deaths! On average, 5-20% of the population of the entire world get the flu each year (CDC), and more than 20,000 people die from it. At a maximum of 20% infected world-wide, that would be 20,000 out of 1,335,000,000 infected people that die from your AVERAGE flu - not even a strong one!

This makes swine flu only 10x more likely to be your cause of death than being killed by a bolt of lightning.

Scratch that - double checking my math puts death by lightning strike at about 12x more likely than death by swine flu. Death by the seasonal flu is only slightly more likely than death by lightning.
