The BlizzCon 2009 tournament stream is now live with Starcraft, Warcraft 3 and World of Warcraft PvP action, with strong international competition in each discipline.

edit: I havent paid any attention to Warcraft since the release of Frozen Throne and jesus christ, they are still playing the same shitty maps, the excact mistake the Quake series has paid for dearly. I hope QL doesnt go down the same road :E
I agree the map rotation has not been satisfactory, but there are many new maps from the start of TFT, come on... Also the TFT launch maps that are still played are quite modified(like Twisted Meadows for instance). There are also some maps that were semi-widely used for a while that have since been dropped, and many maps in korean tv leagues that never gained popularity.
one possible answer:
"KT/hite/OZ/SKT/SouL probably turned down any invites because of Masters, and I'd be willing to bet Flash turned down his invite because from the sound of his interviews he sounded like he wanted to get back to helping KT move forward in Masters. The reason the CJ players are there is because they earned it (sAviOr as returning champ, EffOrt from GOM, and sKyHigh inherited Iris's spot) and they're out of Masters now so they have no obligations .
The teams aren't dumb at all, it's just a foreign invitational doesn't take precedence over anything that's happening in the Korean pro scene (I don't know why you think it does).
On another note, it's a shame free didn't get invited instead of ZerO from Woongjin, but I guess since ZerO has the higher KeSPA ranking he got the invite"

I watched some of the WC3 final (last map - it sucked).
I was out and left the stream loading for the SC final as it seemed to buffer for forever and you could just continue watching. Seems I was wrong. After buffering over 60 minutes or so it would stop when I got to the half-way mark. So All there was to watch was WoW. Which was stupid because even if I did know the classes skills, I think I would not be able to recognize what's happening on the stream.
I hope there will be VODs of the WC3 and Starcraft final.
I have one question: is the average joe stupid, or just stupid? I see youtube posted videos with the dancing contest already, but not a single video from the starcraft competition
what is this blizzcon about, is it about dancing and shaking asses or about gaming?
events like quakecon and blizzcon should not allow the acces of other people except hardcore gamers, it seems there is full of lamers who jerk off all day and don't feel their day is complete if they didn't got entertained by boobs, loud music and other DISTRACTING shit, to help them jerk off one more time for the evening
freakin' A
