Yes, picmip 6 is the way it's meant to be shown, imo. Also, cg_simpleitems 1 would be better for spectators as well.

We post videos in best quality possible for everyone. Demos are available to use whatever settings one would want to customize their view in in BEST quality and I'm not going to use my own preferences to add personal bias to a video showcasing Quake and professional tournaments.

We will never do lego mode because it doesn't promote the game to new audiences if they cannot tell what game it is or because it looks like crap. I even caught myself during ESL Dubai wondering sometimes what map they were even playing right as I started the stream.

Almost the same, but it's fucked up. :D IMHO it has broken flow compared to q2 version.

Partly it is. I had a straight port first, but doesn't work well in Q3 cause the game needs flatter grounds than Q2 for being enjoyable. I overdid it, tho, and ospdm8 has too large distances between the different control spots. Fatal1ty exploited that flaw for good at Quakecon.

He is missing what professional athletes use all the time,is mental exercises ,like visualization,concentration and focus exercises

This is a freak game, It does not represent fox's or dravens ability.

Draven had a shit game and fox had a good game, it happens to everyone, even cooller at ESWC when Toxic raped him on pro-dm6, something which was deemed impossible.

I bet if thye played again you would be lucky to see more than an 8 frag lead for fox on this map. Fox is obviosuly the better player, but you should not draw any conclusions from this game anymore than you should from toxic owning cooller at on pro-dm6 [ON LAN].

I think its a kinda sucky game to put up, I have seen some VERY well known players getting raped online only for them to have a rematch and win the very next game.

I expect Draven "gave in" relatively soon into the match too.

Perhaps you are forgetting that Draven was once as good as Jamerio. IMO this puts Draven at least equal to fox.

i don't see how that put's him as equal to fox in the present era. I'm sure Fox could make a repeat performance of the one just seen many times over but could you speak the same for Draven?

if you type in cl_ (Then press tab you'll see a list of variables related to that commande the screenshot will be in there I'm sure.

I think you can define it further by cl_a[TAB] and it will show all the cl_ stuff that starts with a. Been a while.

Dunno about duel mode, is there a seperate cfg or something.

Then just press p at the start of every game to execute it.

Also dont forget you can view the config in the text file and look at all the commands, a lot will self explain, but this game has way too many hidden/geeky variables that ultimately hurts it.

Instead of using <tab> u can also list all vars with a
certain substring:
