Quake perfection was summed up to me with cooller 2003. It was a tourney that jizzed not only skill but style, the epitome! I remember fox playing sick, red... (whose config I was eternally grateful for), playing out of his skin but not managing - Lexer, just omfg and z4 sublime and one of the coolest guys too play q3, fazz owning it up at times. gay but hey I like the game.

Personally I've played at an ok level - enough to get a good game out of third tier players (not ql third tier players). One where strategies count. Respect that some new guys are going to quickly come up through the ranks and be way better. But what the fuck is it with ql that it makes a big difference (bitching) my screen shakes like a shitting dog and you loose to players that can't even time and some can't even strafe properly!!

No offence to them, I can see they are trying but I can tell when someone can and can't play. In q3 they'd be pissed on.

It's way too random and fucked up. But I do love the game, just wished I could play on that level again.
