2 TA maps although they're both the same. One map comes from Q3/Dreamcast mappack and will never really be played except in FFA. The other ones are new but play shitty. I mean honestly, one of them is reminiscent of a Q1 map while another looks like something from Q4.

Why would they add a TDM map? Let alone 2? Barely anyone plays in public servers and that's the attraction for most new users

TDM maps are usually also good FFA maps.

Because TDM is most in need of maps.

Have ya loaded up the server browser recently? Public games are where ID are gonna get their newer users and NOBODY plays TDM (and if they do, it's like 3 people on a tier 5 server or something)

Nope. Besides, the TDM maps are also played as CA maps, atleast they're classified as so by id.

well, im gonna go ahead and bet on 2 new CA maps wich wont work at all for tdm or duel -> useless (for tourneys anyway)

2 ffa maps, one beeing from hub or whoevers working there, and another old one from whatever q3 console version or some shit -> useless

1 ctf and a tdm map, maaaaaybe 1 of them beeing new but i suspect both will be dire aswell.

but im still keeping my hopes up, its idsoftware afterall... *_*

if its not true, maybe we should spread it to all the major gaming news sites anyway, pretty much forcing id to actually do it unless they wanna look stupid :P
