After Reason-Gaming picked up a Quakelive squad, there British rivals Dignitas strengthen there lineup with Swedish Quakelive player

Michael "madix" Hindersson.

madix is already qualified for the IEM European Championship but he will also attend the Dreamhack Winter event in late November.

Should play more Zotacs etc. I thought it was a bit harsh that zsx's first game in the last zotac was against Cypher and he could have gone further if not for that. But yeah, if they played those zotacs and practice frequently (which from the looks of it, they are) they'd challenge on LAN a bit better

however much i beleive your statement to be true (and i do), it's so unbeleivably flawed. madix has not won anything, gohlink has not won anything. Infact, only a small number of people in the "late quake 3 and complete quake live competitive duel scene" have actually won anything worth talking about.

Doesn't mean that the British players aint? Or that the other nations that are 'working on it' haven't achieved nor will achieve anything from it.

Don't get me wrong, I agree that UK gaming is a bit dire for anything except consoles (lol) and a few select games, but it's turning around (hopefully)

We do quite ok in TDM and CTF, and those that play TDM and CTF don't play 1v1. But i guess nobody really cares about team gametypes in quake anyway.

Yeah that's what I mean. We always used to be pretty decent at CS1.6 as well but that hit the shit as well. It seems to be picking up again and we're pretty decent with TF2, and probably some naab games like COD etc so it's not all bad :P
