Times seem wrong, but it starts at 3pm EDT both days.

Also, this is a no-limit sign up. Anyone from anywhere of all skill levels can join, as with most of our tournaments. The rules also aren't clear, but in the event of a NA vs. EU match-up, each player (after dropping) picks their map to play on the opposite server. So NA player picks their map to play on a EU servers, and vice-versa for the EU player.

Anyway, hope to see at least 16 active participants :)

Sorry, totally slipped my mind which is fucking weird since I've been looking forward to watching the games. So we've decided to postpone the tourney to the following weekend.

How many people are out there that have tried CPMA, like CPM
A, but don't play CPMA because it isn't official id software base gameplay?

I liked it, but simply found something better. (a semi-official ID Software product with a dedicated and organized community with a long-lasting tradition of tournaments and well known players)

so, quake live managed to get new maps but the advanced, ever striving for improvement, cpm has the same fucking maps. i appreciate your effort, to bring life to this game, but many people that see this, just go, oh, its this same crap again....

There's two different types of map-pool whine:

1) Map pool is full of old/played-out maps that everyone plays. Please use new maps!

2) Map pool is full of gay maps no one plays. Please use classic maps!

Either way you cut it, you get whiners.

Agreed with lolograde. Trust me, I've been asking players what maps they like to play, what they would like to play, and I've looked through map archives over and over and tried various map pools.

Until we get more participation, we're seeing how many players are actually willing to play. Once we get a regular squad of, oh, 24 active duelers world-wide, then I will start using new and custom maps.

Just to add to the replies, we considered doing a tourney with a completely different map pool. We just decided it would be better to get the scene going a little bit again and gauge how the participation is before we jump into that.
