Major League Gaming's National Championships are this weekend in Dallas, Texas, and will feature the largest Starcraft 2 tournament thus far outside of Korea.
The event is being streamed live all weekend on MLG's site with commentary by Sean "Day9" Plott, Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham, and JP McDaniel.
MLG DC champion Greg "EG.IdrA" Fields will be on hand to defend his title against MLG DC 2nd place finisher Kyung Hyun "d.SeleCT" Ryooa and a slew of opponents from around the globe. TeamLiquid has sent their entire team to the event including star player /Dario "LiquidTLO" Wünsch and Swedes Hayder "HayprO" Hussein and Jonathan "Jinro" Walsh who have been in Korea for GSL, MLG Raleigh champion and mothership rusher Chris "HuK" Loranger, along with Jos "Ret" de Kroon and Tyler "NonY" Wasieleski.
Other first-time MLG attendees include fnatic stars IEM North American champion Jian Carlo "Fenix" Morayra Alejo, and the impressive Yang "Sen" Chia Cheng.
The Americans will look to defend their home turf with Root gaming's strong lineup of Kevin "qxc" Riley, Jonathan "KiWiKaKi" Garneau and Paul-David "SLush" Pagé and EG's Bryce "Machine" Bates, Geoff "iNcontroL" Robinson, and Jacob "LzGamer" Winstead.
Other notable names to look out for include MLG Raleigh third place finisher Giacomo "Socke" Thüs, GSL participant Trevor "TorcH" Housten and YouTube caster Alex "HDStarcraft" Do.
