There is no memory to save any profiles in Deathadder.

So i've to download everytime the drivers? lol bullshit mouse then.

The Deathadder came out during a time when on board memory profile saving wasn't in vogue yet; it wasn't a big thing, and no one raged about it then. You do know that the DA is about 4 years old now. The MX518 also allowed only a single profile, AFAIK.

There is still memory that saves the current DPI and polling rate setting, regardless of computer or drivers, though.

The 3G version is one of the best mice razer ever made (if not teh best).

So basically, someone here is reducing his 1800dpi da to a 700ish da.

The old da has a profile thing stored inside the mouse ( your last settings basically ). The 3500dpi one does too iirc

the deathadder dpi setting isn't saved when you unplug the mouse and plug it back in or to another computer. so you will have to use 3/11 or install the drivers every time.

Got rid of the drivers of mine, was still on 450dpi every reboot, the only thing that was fucked was the light that would go on.

mine resets to 1800 but I'm on the 3.5G one, not sure if that makes a difference

I set once dpi and hz on mine (3G version) and disabled the drivers and its always on same settings. Stayed there even after win reinstall, since I don't have them installed now at all.

You can save the default dpi and polling rate on the mouse.

it saves dpi/rate you set in the drivers so you can plug it another pc without them and have 450dpi/500hz or whatever

You just need the drivers to be able to switch between the profiles via the button under the mouse.

I use 900DPI, 1000hz, winsens and driversens untouched.

nope, v1.35 is non-prediction, v1.36 enables it again

+DA 3G since fwr>1.10 ---> Store last dpi & hz settings.(Not profiles U need the drivers for this feature). U dont need drivers after choose ur desired settings.

+Razer released NDC firmware at the beggining (well after the first NDC version 1.28), with the same number version as the original DC firmware (1.31NDC, 1.31DC). But for help the users and after ask them to change it, they released the next firmware for NDC & DC with different numbers: (1.33NDC-1.34DC), (1.35NDC-1.36DC).
Its a pity that the people think that 1.36 its the only lastest one when really its the pair: (1.35-1.36) and only depends of the flavour u like more: original DC or NDC firmware.

-Dont know if DA 3.5G store the last dpi & hz settings. It should do it like the older 3G....if not ask it to Razer support

If you're talking about the 3.5G then install the latest drivers, flash with the latest firmware, setup the polling rate/dpi to your preference and then uninstall the Razer drivers. I prefer 500Hz/900 DPI so I can use 6/11 Windows sensitivity and have 1:1 movement at a decent speed.

The 3.5G stores usb polling rate and dpi settings onboard so once you've set up the mouse with the drivers you can uninstall the drivers and unplug the mouse as many times as you'd like and it'll always come back to your polling/dpi profile.

Does anyone know what sensor this mouse uses? As in, the name of the manufacturer and the part?

Deathadder 1800 (3G) = Avago 3668
Deathadder 3500 (3.5G) = Avago 3888

Avago 3668 awesome sensor. I'm considering buying one more (DA 3G) if I find it somewhere, just in case this one brake down.

Is there anyother mouse use Avago 3668/3888 besides of deathadder and abyssus?

Abyssus shape is of my taste, but no onboard memory fucks everything up.

afaik no, those sensors are exclusive to Razer

also isn't Salmosa fairly similar to the Abyssus? It has the Avago 3668 sensor with 800 / 1800 DPI to choose from + not-reducible prediction (not a issue imo)

I don't like prediction so...

I didn't try it, but maybe the 3.5 sensors perform better with a red led.

I've just bought a new Razer Death Adder 3.5 G..
It doesn't save my dpi settings, nor the polling rate. When I unplugged it from my computer which has its driver and plug it in another computer, it changes it's dpi again to the default (1800)..
Any solution.

Install the drivers also on the other PC. And set up you settings.
The Deathadder doesn't save the values in the mouse.

With cs you want :

6/11 in win (default)
500/1000 hz
450 dpi
