Me! Since the thunderstruck patch i guess it was. The mouse problems that is. And the fps problem also to some extent

Today was the first time, that the input bug occured.

have been getting one bug for ages
happens with m_filter 1 while minimizing(using minimiz0r from www.idcation.com)
the xhair stops detecting small vertical movements, the more times you minimize - the bigger speeds are ignored, goes up to the point equal to m_pitch 0 :S
have to switch it off, minimize, ... , maximize, switch it back for it not happening
in_restart doesnt help(well it does help to get the mouse moving with this bug instead of just watching the floor like with m_pitch 0)
so the only thing that helps is maprestart/reconnect :/

I can track perfectly normal on firefox, but if i use ie or chrome or even prism, my shit feels way off. Only firefox feels good and consistent.

Yeah, just got out of a ca game, 16 players or something and I kept dropping down to 80 on dm17 ( trololo ) while I had my usual jittery 12x on dm6.
I get the same drops on the bigger ca maps and on the snowy ctf map ( can't remember the name ), doesn't really depend on the number of players.

The sens/accel also go down but the usual jitter can't explain the floaty sens thing ( a 5-10 fps difference simply can't add 10 cm to my 360 )

Asylum is pretty notorious for horrible FPS, luckily you should never have to play those horrible maps.

I've never had a mouse problem but every so often my FPS will drop its shit for a split second. Very fucking annoying when it happens during an RJ or clutch rail.

No idea if this counts, but I can't get a constant 125 fps anymore. It's varying a bit and just doesn't look smooth at all. CPMA on the other hand works like a dream :/

maybe you guys should post specs of your setup to see if there is some kind of pattern. otherwise this is just a sad whining anonymous quakers peer group

must feel good to have paid 50$ for a 10 year old game with unstable fps.

75 hz for tft, com_maxfps 75, looks like butter, just forget you ever used a crt and had 120 fps (hardest).. you dont need it for movement anyway, not in this game, and there are no fps drop EVER at 75, you can live with it and play against div ppl if thats whats good fer ya

I do use a 120hz crt and even capping the fps at 60 and 30 ( yes, I checked with thirty ) doesn't solve the problem.

75 fps and 75 displayrefresh looks smooth togeather, but I assume you are used to a crt and 125 fps, getting used to what i've said can take about two months or so (after being a dogmatic crt worshiper for years) before you even remotely feel that you can achieve something like before, but in the end its playable even for example: a ctf pickup with the top players.
ya should try lowering settings, only extra i use as a must is lightmap, could give a list of tweaked cvars but i dont feel like it

there's nothing significant I can put lower except the resolution but it doesn't help at all.

guess you've never used a decent one. I'm pretty sensitive to flickering, yet I can't say at all that I feel more tired with my crt than I used to using a lcd.

Have you turned v-sync off? It caps FPS at your hz rate, at least in my case.

I'm not that stupid + #14 + wouldn't cause drops.

That's what it's set on, 0 doesn't help at all. colorcorrect 0/1, fastpath 0/1, blurry legomode cvars don't do shit either nor does any combination I've tried.

I've got very bad fps drops on T4, pretty annoying. Also I can't go from fullscreen to windowed and back to fullscreen anymore. It completely fucks up my fps :l

But cpma works great!

the input problem is here since beta , still stays unfixed

QL input is pretty much shit in compare with Q3 .

Hey, come on now. Achievements/awards are where it's at in gaming don't you know? I for one welcome our achievement laden overlords.

I mean who in their right mind would want bugs fixed or something as pointless as a ranking/ladder system that actually worked, or some kind of tourney system on the site for different game modes and skill levels to get people competing in weekly tournaments. None of those things mean much when there are achievements to be had.

Then again, that stuff takes planning, nevermind.
