wasn't me, but considering the admin who did delete it, I'm gonna guess it was because of the sentence in German (or actually the gibberish made out of German words :P)
if you were an admin you would know that there a link where they can check who deleted what post and when.
And if you were an intelligent user you might have read the very short posting guidelines where it days that posts in a foreign language will be removed.
But you chose to make it very obvious why are neither, by implying someone could get raged by your very broken German that is probably from a google translate or something.
So 2 words in english and 3 in german gets a post deleted here? Hmm, I seem to remember a number of posts throughout the years of remarks made in foreign languages (many by yourself) that were not deleted.
And if I'm implying anything, its that you need to find something better to do with your life than enforce some abstract rule that Becks and co. have broken numerous times.
yeah, I was wondering if it shouldn't be "il était" or something. But then I put it in google translate, which gave "it was" and figured that was what hnns meant anyway.
yap, and I even use French about once a year when on vacation.
Don't know if my counterparts understand what I am trying to say, though :]
Like a friend who went to a bakery and want to ask for directions and ended up asking for hookers, as he found out by the reactions :D
Yay! Once the french and germans actually understand this we (NL) can actually stop learning german and french. So pointless...
Let's just all start talking english. I wouldn't give a shit if we did.
statistics are always horribly conveyed. there's probably a bunch of interesting facts in that report and in that general realm that could've been brilliantly visualized by even one modestly payed info-visual artist.
why even focus on that one study? why is that interesting? why not contextualize it with studies from the rest of the world, and health reports? why is all this shit fragmented into tiny packets of rather useless information?
this way of reporting does not contribute to understanding at all, it just muddles the heads of millions; what? so people can say "now europeans are also getting fat!"? wtf is that? pathetic attempt at news.
