32 participants have the chance to compete in a double elminiation bracket for the ESL winter award and premium accounts worth 6 months in total.

The mappool will be different from previous competitions and will be different for matches between premium members and for matches against at least one quake live standard user:
- Standard: Bloodrun, Campgrounds, Furious Heights, House of DecayLost World, Vertical Vengeance
- Premium: Aerowalk, Battleforged, Bloodrun, Furious Heights, Lost World, Phrantic

With k1llsen, reload and UwU participating the best of the best from the german speaking Quake Live Community is already set up and ready to go.

Furthermore about 82 palyers signed up for the German Bundesliga from all skill levels. The league weill start on 31st January. while qualifier matches will start on 18th January.

If you speak German make sure you get things up and join the main event for the german Quake Live scene in 2011.
