yes, bought the xai shortly after it came out and been playing with that combination ever since.
i do not experience "jittering", "skipping" or "accel". i use what would be sens 4, accel 0.1 at 400 dpi, fov 100 and 1920x1080 at 120hz.
while i recorded my mousemovements i realized that i do not hit 1 m/s during aiming and moving (with quite some effort i might hit that during a sweep) therefore the so called "positive accel" of the sensor never kicks in for me.
Hm my xai ruse edition randomly stopped working on qck heavy. In middle of fight, mouse is not reacting = fucking annoying. Qua tracking it was OK but worse than the wmo I used before on the same pad. I've never experienced positive accel either, felt more like sens was changing randomly sometimes (due really small skips I assume). Yes, that combination works but I wouldn't call it "awesome". Try xai + 9hd and the difference will blow you off, I promise.
i've been using a qck heavy for a long time now with different mice, the xai does not perform better or worse than any of the others i tried it with. you sure it wasn't just dust particles in the lens?
I cleaned my pad, tried different usb hz, dpi, sens..
Maybe your first generation xai is somehow different to the ruse edition I got. Or you handle your mouse differently, as I hit 2 m/s quite often while playing.
I bought the first xai, and it's quite bad at all pads tbh.
Feels like it jitters all the time, and I've tried all the different settings. It's probably just a bug that ss stealthfixed to avoid mass RMA.
Kinda sad how the deathadder has better tracking than a nextgen gamingmouse 5 years later. I'd use my DA if I could actually use it for gaming without getting cramps in my hand.
CBA to pay 50 for a mouse that might have the issues resolved, but I could try SS support.
For dpi you should use a multiple of 90, because thats what the sensor works with. The native resolution of the sensor is 1620dpi. 450, 900 and 1800dpi should work well too. Also test a game which has raw input to make sure its not a software problem.
But like I said earlier, for me xai ruse + qck heavy = big suckage. :/
Edit: You did start a new profile in the xai driver, right? Because the default profile is optimized for r.u.s.e and even affects windows settings (puts speed on 3/11 if I recall correctly).
