The next Quakelive Tourney where all the best players are in attendance isn't until [August 7th 2011], which even if he wins will put him just over the 6 year mark or 6.07 years or ~2216 days.

I simply jumped the gun a little because I knew it was physcially impossible for him to win before the 6 year mark.

So present time is irrelevant because there are no more opportunities for him to win within a 6 year period :)

IEM European Championships had the worlds best playes except for rapha, DaHanG and czm (as much as I love Vo0 he is still not in shape to be counted to the world-elite in QL).

Who just happens to be the best player. He played Rapha at the world championships less than two months later and lost 3-0.
So you don't have a leg to stand on with that, especially as I said... "when the best players were in attendance"

As for the Quake 4 event, it was RIGHT at the start of the games life and Quake 4 was MESS at the start and while i can see you're keen to say he beat toxic, we all know that Toxic dominated everyone from pretty much that date on for the next 12-14+ months.

A world championship at a new game is not an accurate test for skill, toxic proved that. So did fatality when he won the world champions in Doom 3August and didn't even play at the CPL 50k event a few months later. And when he played the winner of that CPL event he got owned on the great wall of china.

It was nothing but a warmup event for what was to come.

So far your only "wins" are one where the best player was not there (and who Cooller could not take a game form when they met in the one that counted).

And a toureny at the start of a new game which doesn't mean an awful lot.

rapha+czm+DaHanG= 3 Top 16 Players (May be even 2 1/2 cuz czm is stimm not stable but let's count him in)
From which only rapha ist constant top 3 finisher at big events.

Cypher+strenx+Av3k+Spart1e+maddix+k1llsen+fazz=7 Top 16 Players
From which Cypher, strenx and Av3k are constant Top 3 finishers at big events.

3<7 and 1<3 my friend, so in every aspect Cooller won the event with the bigger ammount of top-tier players.

wow, the guy has one "loss" and all of a sudden his past is undone? didn't Cypher get raped a few months ago too by playing really badly?

rapha is still the most successful quakelive player and he still beat Cooller 3-0 at the world championships a few weeks ago.

FFS sake Rapha lost 17-1 to spartie at this event and in the finals he was -2 in the first game and barely scored a frag on the next.

Tbh Cypher was extremely lucky to win that hub (if no, he'd go to loosers bracket where was strenx who won wim last time w/o any real problems) on last secs and it just gave him huge confidence boost while rapha was kinda down mentally.

I was actually waiting for this. Obviously the cypher page seemed more obvious since serious gaming have a close relationship with razer, even having a place in the clantag for most tournaments av3k and cypher played. cooller with his hands on the abyssus, it was only a matter of time 'til the page would be online.
