I decided to try out .61 since I haven't played since .32 came out. The netcode is complete and utter shit at 100 ping. Somehow even worse than ql.

That coupled with no people in the western us who play warsow means I'm fucked.

Japanese guys owned the Australian tournament at >100 ping.

I know that doesn't prove anything, but maybe it's not so bad for everyone. The netcode feels good to me, but I admit I rarely play at >50 ping.

I can play on 190 ping, only weapon that doesn't work on that ping is rockets and plasma

I tried to play the other day on 90-100 ping and had the same problem. Most noticeable change for me was rail/EB though. I would be exchanging shots with an enemy and on the shot that would kill me, I would shoot back at the same time, yet nothing would fire from the gun. I guess because I was supposed to be dead already, but didn't even see that I was on my screen because of the lag.

And its not like I shot and it didn't register, the rail shot/effect wouldn't even appear on screen even though I heard the sound for it.

As stated below by an another Anonymous (aka. lazy) user, taking back control from a reasonably equally skilled opponent isn't all that challenging. Due to the vast mobility the Warsow movement offers, one can do a lot to offset item timings of the controlling player and build back control.

Also, as said, the armor system has been slightly altered to make it much less of a rape even if the opponent holds the key items firmly.

as said by me Cooller is by no definition a reasonably equally skilled oppônent, hence rape ;)
