Like lots of players would go and participate in both.

Also, take the time to find/create some more good duel maps, the current list is shit.

there will be brink, so i don't think that quake tournament gonna be huge to contain ctf+tdm and even if there is TDM most players will prepare for duel more so I'd be fine with usual ctf+duel qcon

Agreed about tdm/ctf -- duel tournament should be secondary. Teams generate more excitement and create more of a fun but competitive atmosphere to specs and non-gamers. Duel-faces can look so somber and grim.
