I've listened to a ton of pod casts over the last couple of months since I started using a ipod while jogging.

If you want to actually learn something:

History Of Rome

One of the first pod casts I found and one of the best by far. This guy puts a ton of research in every episode, and it shows. Highly recommended.

Football:

ESPN Soccernet Pod cast

Even though this is technically on a "American" site, thankfully no Americans are involved in the pod cast. It's just some English pundits discussing the EPL and other major events in football in the past week.

Movies:

Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo's Film Reviews

From the BBC, Mark Kermode reviews the lastest films in a brutally honest and highly entertaining way. Usually there is a interview with some movie actor/director/whatever etc halfway which is pretty boring and should probably be skipped.

English pundits! I don't think there is a single Englishman on presspass. Orsatti is Australian and Symth is Irish!

The TV stuff is totally separate from the pod cast. Different people etc.

It's not cool to admit to but BBC Radio 4 is brilliant, from any of the 18:30 comedy to the brilliant shows such as Americana, Costing The Earth, Material World, Thinking Allowed, Great Lives etc etc - just browse & grab anything that looks interesting.

Why is it not cool? I love radio 4! :)
