Damn, sweet movie. Alot of really cool tricks.

Two of the tricks confused me however. Can someone help me understanding the trick at 4:00 and the last one?

How are they levatating in the 4:00 one? To me it looks like only the guy in the top gets boosted by the other guys LG. How is the lowset guy moving upwards? And in the last trick: How can a spawnpoint block him? And how is he able to boost himself with his own direct rockets?

I could be wrong with the 1st one.

1. I do believe it's either:
a) they move faster than plasma, making it climbable (shot by the guy boosted with lg).
b) the guy boosted by lg shoots plasma in a downward-angle, not that it hits the guy boosting him directly, but hits body or feet, creating a plasma-climb effect.

2. Simply, it's a jump-pad, one guy stands on top of the performer, shooting a barrage of rockets, being invisible, mostlikely because the guy performing would see where the stream of rockets is being shot at, then moving off, the performer flies upwards (possibly boosted by rail, maybe not) into the continuous stream of flying rockets, resulting in a 8x RJ, not as fast, but effect should be the same (i didn't count, just a wild guess).

edit: Watched it again after this comment.
It was actually double of the "guessed" amount of rockets.

Ah I see. I thought that it was the player in the buttom that fired the rockets and I couldn't understand how they made an impact on himself :D.

The first one however still bugs me. Even though the top guy hits him in the feet would that still push him downwards? I mean the shot does come from above him.

If it was shot directly at him, then yes, but it wasn't. Notice their starting position, i bet they flew in that formation, so the guy in the bottom basically used the plasma as a ladder. if you aim at your feet with plasma you'll notice that you shake, and if you move to some direction, the plasma will carry you for a brief moment, that's basically what this trick is about. Can't really imagine how many demos did it take, but from my little freestyle experience, it takes ALOT of time to get that "one" trick done.

the one at the top in 4:00 trick was shooting plasma which was goin slower than the players. therefore the plasma hit the player below and kept his upwards speed.

Now that's teamtricking!

Really incredible tricks. Am I the only person who thinks some of these were highly scripted? Some of the PG work is simply o.O

I can only speak for my -O- buddies, kale, rbk and me (because i never tricked with the others), that none of our Teamtricking content is/was Timescaled or scripted!

this is by far the best defrag trick video i've seen. true, maybe some scenes could have been a bit brighter, but overall this was the tone of the movie, and an awesome one 4 sure. incredible visuals, unreal tricks

Freestyle defragging usually bores the shit out of me very quickly. This one however was pretty damn cool.

For some reason I had trouble playing the 1080p version despite using coreAVC CUDA & madVR (I can play vids with a far higher bitrate so it must be a bug somewhere).
VLC could play it (with software acceleration) but would freeze every now and then.

720p looked good enough, 'nyway, <3
