two great movies in couple of days. This is hard to review since i watched zeroql's piece first, which sends a level of standard into the sky...

Still, nicely done... I would say great movie. CPMA plus some fucked up music and some creativity add up into something personable. If this was a movie, it could be a cult among its audience while suffering, slightly, in the box office. In the latter case i don't think author would give a fuck considering the instruments and the content.

Very boring to me this.

The frags were brilliant but the editing made it seem slow and dull. The visual effects/textures were annoying and ugly. Besides that the music delivered a new level of awfully terrible.

Only cus of the frags this one reaches 6/10 from me.

Fast paced music. Metal is usually pretty suiting of that reason but so is electronic if its something more upbeat than this.

Yeah I found the epic style music at the Quake run kinda cheesy as well.

The music in w3sp strafes doesnt really enhance the experience of the runs/jumps. It's merely a nice ambient track that allows the watcher to concentrate about the tricks. That is way better than the annoying music here in dorftrottel, that in my oppinion does not suit anything at all.

Slow music tracks can work well with the defrag tunnel vision, but generally I would prefer fast paced music here as well. Music that sets the hektik mood and points out the difficulty in performing tricks and jumps in those high speeds.

This track in Quake 3 DeFRaG - Lags the movie I think is suiting. (bad video quality unfortunatly)

This is best cpm movie i`ve seen the last 6 years. You really did a great job on this Kos + I have to admit that norz and hal really show cpm at its very best. Very impressive ! It made me thinking about returning to cpm..need some time and a mouse though ;)

Very nice idea about changing the textures. Is there a place where I can download them?

I didn`t like how it was restricted to three maps though. More variety in it (perhaps different gametypes too) would have been cool, there`s many other great maps out there.

best gaming movie since get quaked 3 and even better than tc2 imo, just because it was more artistic.
some of the frags are absurd. LOVED the nade bounce at 5:56.
god knows how long it took to retexture the maps and do all of those effects like the molecule-style intro.

music choice is flawless. spent all of yesterday and this morning listening to the last track :]

easiest 10 i could ever give.

Nice movie! Awesome editing skills by KOS, as usual. Some really incredible frags but I sometimes feel editing/effects are too much and detract from the "moment" of the awesome frags. Though I can't say why exactly. Perhaps I need to watch it again.

Makes me want to play cpm so that's never a bad thing.

Also, another CPM movie is on it's way. T-minus two weeks! (or so).

"Skullcrack" really is a terrible song (and I like Dubstep) so I nearly shift-deleted the video before the song ended. Dibiase's "Cosignin" on the other hand is gorgeous! About the video: Some very creative ideas, but... simple items? I also disliked the use of white enemymodel, not visible enough in black/white maps. Not a keeper for me.

Yeah so YouTube allowed fps higher than 30 a month ago and I uploaded the 1080p/50fps version of this.

YouTubes encode is not NEARLY as good as KOS original render, but it's still better than 720p/30fps previously uploaded to YT.

I also still have the 1080p/50fps file lying around, if anybody has a good filehost I can upload this to, I could do it.

YT's encode actually became better today than when I checked it yesterday, lol. I guess it was still processing or something.

The 1080p/50fps version on YT is now quite close to the original. It's still not the same thing, but it's actually good now. It feels like it's lower bitrate, so KOS version looks sharper and better color-wise, but that's about the only difference I can spot.
