from my own experience with qcon and tourneys in general, play VERY careful, these guys will do stuff in game your normal practice partners would never do, and get away with it. So CAREFUL.

also you wont outaim anyone, thats a given and you probably know it, so play accordingly.

I had practiced with him alot on hub during the inet preparation period (actually more like him practicing with everyone), that way COULD sometimes pay off vs him if he was on an inconsistent day, but of course you still played the map his way so he would end up winning.

honestly it isnt Rays fault the capture the flag scene is totally stagnant and Ive always been a big supporter of ray he has had a lot of good ideas and he actually contributed a lot to the community including a bug reporting thread and tech support and I feel like he feels underappreciated and I think instead of lashing him for his negative remarks and derogatory behavior we should just pity him for becoming such a loathsome creature that doesnt want to preserve a game that was once beloved but destroy it because it has become a perverted caricature of itself due to both a community and a software team that is listless and doesnt give a rats ass for the contributions people like ray give to the game and that doesnt give a rats ass for the bigger picture

my forum got hacked, they deleted my threads, everything i made is gone. What's left to do? They deserve whatever is coming to them. They made me into what i am now. And yes, why give a rats ass for the developers who don't give a rats ass for anyone unless that peson can pwn some tier 2 noobs 100-2 in a game. If that's the kind of people they want to associate themselves with, cuogh incubus, then fine, but those people will drag them and the game further down into the spiral. The CTF scene in NA is a joke now and its' in large part due to guys like incubus, nuztata, everybodypoops, candyass, gragor, kujoe, weirdwolf, av8r, avenged, and all the other scumbags that like to prey, stack, teamkill on tier 2 players during the middle of the day when no tier 4 games are up. Congrats idiots, you killed your own playerbase

And to deadaim and all you incubus supporters out there, dont' forget one thing, ID ADVERTISES THIS GAME AS SKILLMATCHED. So yes, cooloutac and anyone else who "whines" about the skillmatching system has a right to do so. Until id takes that lie off the front page of their website "easily play against others at your skill level" then they are right in their complaints. So don't use the "q3 had no tiers" excuse on them.

When there is nothing else to do in the middle of the day and I'm bored I will play against lower tiered players. They will never get better if they keep playing bad players, so technically we are helping them out.

No pointless is anyone like yourself who does nothing, who just goes with the flow and doesn't speak out against the wrongs in this game. Nothing will change man, nothing. You don't have to believe it, you just have to witness it with your own eyes in the weeks to come. Think back to the promises made last year at quakecon and thereafter in regards to the development of this game. Ask yourself, before you flame the person who is telling you about it, what have they accomplished and at what cost. You ask yourself that question.

I'll give you a hint. They segregated the playerbase to a level that it can never recover from. Why? because not enough people spoke out about the subscription model and let id continue on their path.. Again, ask yourself the tough questions without focusing on the person asking them. If you can do that, then you can be honest about this game, something, which is necessary in order to understand the path this game has taken over this past year.

The premium forum is yet another example. It's all a scam as far as i'm concerned. And plenty of people are paying for it because they never hear the other side. They dotn' see the real statistics, the real palyerbase, the real opinions. They're all silenced. Guys like you will regret when i'm gone.
