Label it as you wish, fact remains its the most played and the most known sport in the world, obviously theres always someone fool enough to not recognize it.
Now i understand why you dont enjoy soccer, you like feminine soft sports more so if being played by women, congrats, now stop trolling at a men thread, thanks :DD
Hi mash glad to see youre still posting crap :D Not that i would believe you could say something interesting about something you have already proven enough youre such a noob, but thanks for reading and posting. As anything devoid of value, smalltalk dies quickly while titles and glory remains.
Yet again, the big ones dissapointed. Well deserved victory for Uruguay, wp!
A lot of players playing with hardly any rest after long seasons with european top teams. And now immediately back to preparation for the new season. Impossible to play at the same level a full year...
yes, you're right, they keep failing over recent years that it's maybe better to drop that term (as in: Arg & Bra being the two best football nations in SA). Skillwise, they should always meet each other in the final, but of course football doesn't work that way. What do you think about their teams btw? Do they just lack a good coach, or is this generation just less talented?
Either way, I think it's great Uruguay won the thing!
I wont speak of what i dont know as arg/bra. But about Uruguay, we are the ones who failed hard in the 90's 00's due to conflict of interests in the player selection arena fucking money always fucking thins and we are slowly going back to where we were till the 80's, as a always hard to beat oponent. Its like saying cypher is better than cooller cause he has had better results in the last years, but if you take the whole picture, cooller is at least as talented. Now multiply that for 100 years of tournaments as in football. Even with those seriously crappy years, we have a total of 20 international titles, 2 olympic games before the world cup, where there were more countries playing than in many of the later "world cups", 2 world cups, 15 america cups, and "el mundialito" where only champions of the world played in 1980. 20 international titles in these 100 years, more than any other nation. People will try to select what better shows them, like Brazilians downplaying the America Cup in favor of the World Cup where theyre the ones etc, im not here to argue, i understand you lived mainly in the darker years of our football and judge us accordingly.
rofl yeah your two world titles do count a lot :D.
Haha this is why I fucking hate national football. Bunch of retards who are proud of their 30s titles...
I feel sorry for your ignorance and possible envy, especially with the knowledge that the Champions League is everything for you.
Actually I donīt know if you are Austrian or German. According to your ESL profile you are of German nationality. If thatīs the case, then, especially then, your bashing is pitiful, since Germany is a beautiful successful country, whose citizen donīt need that kind of degrading speech towards other nations. Neither is any degrading general speech against a whole nation justified. But if you are Austrian, or if you live there most of your time, you should be able to grasp the point of my post.
Just imagine, in Europe, that Austria would have been as much successful with their national football team, just as Uruguay is, in terms of size compared, to the other "big nations" of their continent. Or if noctis would have been not only participant, but world champion several times and more often than other players from bigger countries. Can you imagine the pride someone will have, to be of the same homeland?
It is completely different to cheer for a football club, who can buy a selection of (the best available) players, coaches, trainers, equipment, marketing contacts, and so on, rather than to cheer for your homeland. This is pride for your homies and your ancestry.
Not entirely sure I get it.. why do you get to be proud of the acts of your ancestors (or fellow country men, for that matter)? Why do the achievements of other people become yours if they're of the same nationality? If that's not the case, can't you just cheer for anybody playing good in the world?
e: also
since Germany is a beautiful successful country, whose citizen donīt need that kind of degrading speech towards other nations
Of course you can cheer for anybody doing their stuff good, but itīs more awesome to have someone, who is more related to one self, e.g. you cheer for your kid more than you do for the one from another family.
Not sure what to think about the smile I put on your face regards the citation :o
