Atm. at top-level competition only one mistake will cost you the game, but on dm6 you don't need that mistake, you only need shit-spawn and you will loose it cuz you won't get control for 2/3 of the game and will get fraged several times, too many to catch up in the last 3rd of the playtime when you get control by some dumb timing-mistake of your opponent or by luck.

Point is, that most people who play QL Duel on some kind of competetive level (ranging from low- to high-skilled) hate dm6 because it is fucking boring to play. While as pros would even make a match on tourney2 interesting to watch for spectators, but this does not mean that the map itself is good for Duel. I'm playing in the ESL QL 1on1 Bundesliga in a Standart Division where we have dm6 in our mappool and noone plays this pice of shit, that's 35 players out of 127 (making almost 30% [27.some numbers] of all players) and the others have the premium-mappool so they have even more maps to replace dm-shit with some better maps.

While I do agree that you shouldn`t like a map just because somebody has endorsed it, I find it pretty disrespectful that you think his opinion doesn`t matter because he`s "American". What does his country have to do with anything?

All the top players - rapha, cooller, strenx, cypher, etc, like dm6.
It gives us extremely interesting games at top level.
Most mid-skill players hate it.
So, maybe it should only be available starting from quarter/semi-finals at major international LANs? Noobs can play on their noob +back maps, while players who got nearby the top will get a true test of their masterfulness on the map that is deeply appreciated by the best of the best.

I doubt that cypher likes to play dm6 and there are a few more pros who don't like it either.

Greatest map ever!

DM6 is pain in the ass when you have to make a comeback, 10 mins duels don't help in that regard but I still find it quite fun and interesting. It has provided best games throughout the years and I bet it would provide even more thrilling ones in the future. However it needs some tweaks/changes in order to become a competitive map once again.

Its fun nonetheless.

Plus, strenx doesn't like losing on dm6 (all shaft) :D Listening to rapha narrate his match vs. cooller, does tell me there is so much thinking involved, and that can also keep you from being raped. Not only should dm6 not be excluded, but they should start having tournaments with just dm6 only.

Don't get me wrong, I kinda like dm13, but it just seems stale lately and doesn't offer much entertaining value, neither does it reward a brain game, it just seems extremely stale.
I'm not one of those who call +back for every map that isn't aero/hektik, but I have a feeling we need something new and interesting for both spectators and players.

Toxicity might be the answer, though I'm not 100% sure if that map could really deliver.
