Mind sharing what methods you use for this?

Well the wcp1 one had a different "method", so it's not something what you do in a certain order, for example the lines on this one are simply the result of a printscreen over a view with the wireframe scene + the hidden-lines removed:P

But as with all CGI graphics, I use shaders, radiosity, ambient occlusion, caustic, etc, so all the usual things.
I start with the geometry, than the lighting and the materials, shaders, etc. And I always break up the scene into as much individual pass as possible, regardless of how simple it is. For example this dm6 pics had 10 passes
- radiosity1,
- radiosity2 (lava)
- ambient occlusion
- lighting (from sun)
- shadows (from sun),
- lighting (from lights)
- shadows (from lights)
- ambient shading (flat lights),
- zdepth pass (I didn't use this one, but rendered it out for possible depth of field or fog and things like that)
- wireframe (with hidden lines removed)

And it's looks horrible imo because I have to render everything in such a low detail since I have a shitty slow system:(
