Well when I do it I get back on the main page and it seems to do nothing. Can you plz try to make them all to be resized 1024 ? They are awful when that big.

I added more photos, tried to resize but I still get on the main page when I click "1024" below all my pics list.

What I do is : edit, then click on the "Resize Photos Already Uploaded In Gallery: 800, 1024" 1024 link, then the page switches to the main page and it seems nothing is done about resizing...

Doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong, but I think I just did the same and it worked. One thing is, make sure you allow all scripts from esreality.com if you have NoScript or AdBlock, or anything like that. Also, when you click 'Edit' for individual photo, the resize link there does not require any scripts, can try clicking that.

I have AdBlock so that might be the reason.

So many people, when they lose a big match, either get shitty and look for excuses, or act like they don't really care.

Cypher sincerely congratulated Rapha, said that he was fairly happy with his game but Rapha was just too good, and set himself the goal of getting revenge at the next big tournament.

He even had a chance to use hardware problems as an excuse, but instead he told us that everything was fine once he swapped to a new mouse.

One question though, since I'm talking about Cypher: is it considered really bad sportsmanship to say 'gg' and then keep trying to make a comeback? I was a bit disappointed with Cypher when he did that on ztn -- the 'gg' was premature, but once he'd done it, I thought he had basically told rapha that the contest was over. What do other people think about this? What about if Rapha had responded with a 'gg' of his own and stopped moving, would that have been his own fault for taking Cypher's 'gg' seriously?

If I remember correctly the IEM rules explicitly stated that you forfeit the match when calling gg, not sure whether it's the same with dreamhack.

I specifically remember this, but see it differently.

The game was over, Cypher said "gg" and Rapha ignored him and kept playing, rightfully so, so Cypher continued to play.

I think Rapha and Cypher have both always shown a great sense of sportsmanship. I can't see Cypher having having it in him to be underhanded.

As for the philisophical argument... I think players should always play until the other physically forfiets (quits) .. if you don't want to read what someone types, cg_teamchats 1

Thanks. Your opinion doesn't fit with what seems intuitively right to me, but I get where you're coming from, and I would like to hear everyone's opinion on this.

On this specific case -- it seemed more like Cypher kept playing because he realised the comeback was still possible, rather than because rapha did. (Although if he saw rapha stop, he probably would have stopped too, so I guess I half-agree.) I certainly don't think Cypher did it as a deliberate tactic, btw.. It's just that, as I understand it, saying gg is basically telling your opponent 'I concede' -- and the honourable thing to do is to keep to your word, even if you regret having said it.

It's certainly possible though that both players understand this the same way you do -- no matter what your opponent says, the game is alive until the timer runs out or they actually forfeit. In that case there's no problem -- Cypher made an honest mistake 'gg'ing too early, and had a right to change his mind.

Cypher has done the 'gg' bullshit before. He did it to avek at IEM Europe. He gets mad. But it's not a big deal really, people just need to keep playing until match is officially over.

It's not that much of a sellout compared to cypher though, as CS:GO is not nearly as bad for a CS sequel, and Heaton didn't have to bother making shitty arguments.

HeatoN's really into the marketing bs now and would really benefit from a CS rebirth. Whereas cArn has now a decent manager position within fnatic and will work whatever the games are.

cs scene seems to be fragmentated with cs16 and css like quake. i heard that in this new esl esport show.

they wish cs go will be a success and unite all cs`s. but from my experience with quake (quakeworld, quake2, q3 cpma, the game that should unite all = quake 4) it couldnt happened. esport wants always a new game (sponsors, leagues, game studios), but players like their existent grown community game so much (cs16). with money involved players switch for a short time and then going back, if there is something to go back...

I find it funny how people were saying cypher wasn't confident like they actually are cypher. But cypher in this interview said he was happy that he played well even though he lost.

He just said that to not take away anything from raphas incredible performance.

I completely agree .. Cypher did not play as well as normally, below average actually, but again, similar to Cypher, neither of us wants to take anything away from Rapha who was clearly the better player and deserved to win 3-0.

What puzzles me though is... i know Cypher said he was happy with the way he played, but did he say that as not to take anything away from Rapha (cause he is simply nice guy and fair sportsman) or he actually meant it?

From spectator point of view, it did not look like it's Cypher's best game. He had flashes of brilliance here and there, but he was not very cosistent in those maps in finals. Especially on dm13, he got RA, made the rocket jump, nearly got killed, and on second RA he left with half a second till spawn... then he was waiting in Plasma room and he "looked confused" tbh, just gave away control to Rapha.

Rapha played very good, his usualy methodical approach was superb, he threw in some +forward action (maybe he smelled blood :)) He certainly deserved top1. Seems Rapha is kind of player whose form does not fluctuate much, even when he is not aiming superbly, he looks solid.

Anyways GG, nice interview, i hope Cypher can do better at next tournament, and i hope Pavel and Evil show up too.

go back to wmo -> get easy revenge in quakecon. Simple as that. Cypher can't beat players that he dosen't outthink or outaim. Playing with abyssus is like shooting himself in the leg since with wmo he easily outaims the shit out of everyone. Its the only advantage he can relay on when playing players like.. well.. Rapha and perhaps av3k. Otherwise it's just a matter of who's having a better day.

Basically using abyssus on qck is like... it just jitters like a mad. After I managed to experience this stuff on myself I can easly notice how weird cypher's abyssus behaved vs pavel_ while WATCHING A VOD... It's just unplayable combination (abyssus + qck) unless you get jitter-free one wich is almost like impossible. You can even search the net for some pain-test pics to see how bad abyssus's sensor is on qck.

Cypher said himself he used wmo in one of the zotac 3 weeks before zotac but i guess he went back to abyssus because he is used too it / feels better for him. Don't get why people act like a transition from abyssus to wmo will make his aim better by 10-20%. They are both good.

The minute he switched to a deathadder he started to play worse.

Did you see him play in the q3 days? He arguably aimed better and was more comfortable 5 years ago.

He's probably got used to it too much to switch it just before dreamhack. dosen't say anything about it being a comftirable or a good mouse.

Everyone who saw Cypher in q3 days knows that he was so much better then aim wise. he was just hitting everything with every weapon.

He's the kind of player who would hit with every mouse but with the abyssus he just limits his potential and makes his opening point worse then rapha for example.

So yes at think it will make his aim better. and more importantly not only his aim but his movement and overall control over the game and damage output. It's unquestionable that he was better with wmo.

Those small changes in sens are BRUTAL for your mind while playing, and definitely throws you off your game ...

"Thrown off his game" is exactly how his play appeared to me, and it's a little dissapointing because we were all hoping for a great final.

Rapha played very well, and rapha obviously should of, and did, win 3-0 ... but if Cypher was more relaxed and played his average game it should have went to at least 4 maps if not 5, IMHO!

I just watched another interview on that page with pavel, and I'm not sure who the translator is, twister or firebot. Anyway, the point of what pavel says rarely gets across. For this type of translation you need to make a mental summary while the person is speaking and remember it, because it's impossible to translate verbatim, our short-term memory can't hold that much. Otherwise you will say random stuff that he mentioned that you still remember, and you will miss some other stuff that he said, as well as the major point. I saw the same issue with the stream interview on the 1st or 2nd day.

I would just suggest (in case that there will be a next time) that the guy asks the interviewees to speak one or two sentences and pause for the translator, instead of saying everything in one go. That's really helpful. Most people just don't realize that you have to strain your memory a lot to translate, but they will understand it and pause more often once you explain.

That's fire_bot. Interview can't be too long unfortunately so I'm not sure stoping every two sentences would be easy to do.

Anyway, if you want to make a translation, that would be awesome :).

And it wouldn't be too long. Stopping after a couple of sentences and saying everything in one go is the same thing, the same amount of speech gets interpreted in both cases. I recently kept asking a forgetful guide (who kept forgetting my request to pause frequently) to repeat parts of her own speeches, now that surely made everything longer. :)
