I'm not the only one to think so, Guard and matr0x have said he uses/used item timers/ghosts before, and many people were suspicious of him and while I'm sure that nicerdicer doesn't want to blame agent of cheating without any solid proof, I'm sure his questionable reputation was taken into the equation when choosing which players to invite to this Arena.

Agent is a great player nevertheless, I've watched his demos from one of the Asus lans where he managed to beat cypher and he obviously wasn't cheating there, but i think you have to be very tame to not notice he was ghosting/useing item timers in some of the last zotacs, specifically #137-#142.

matrox is average in ql and guard himself was accused of cheats / timer / streamghosting some time ago..

You could split money and make 2 events with 250$, would be much better for such 8 player cup imho.

Has Cypher retired? He told in skype interview on russian stream of one of the last zotacs cup, that he thought quakecon would be the last major tournament for the game.

He said he would still participate in QL tournaments if there was money involved, but that he wouldn't be investing all of his energy into it.
