I'm amazed again by the quality and general new ideas behind those map. Look at the jumpads ! And the new way of give MH to the map is avesome !!

From looking at the maps in-game, I'm actually sort of surprised. For one, cityy's map seems less like a competitive map and more of a fun theme. Which is fine, don't get me wrong. I just wouldn't expect to see it in QL.

As for the others, I think my first choice is storm3dm7. That map just looks like it has a potential for being fantastic in TDM. Every major item is punishable and just begs for tons of action.

Phant's map is also nice. My only real gripe is that Quad is sort of off to the side. I think it should be moved onto the platform above LG, and alternatively move LG a bit away. Other than that, I can't wait to see who wins :o

best map to ever come out of this comp was crescent. my god what a deep map.

Crescent wasnt an entry for any MSG competiton.

Yeah, all the community make new maps so we can please give id and Syncerror a break since they must be very tired working so hard on our beloved quakelive and collecting our money, they definately need vacations ! Oh damn, he will still have to "judge" the maps, poor guy.

There were a few unforseen delays. I'll make another ESR post when things are finally wrapping up. The good thing is that Sapphire announced that they are donating a 7750 OC board for the competition.

Winners are being announced at #maverickservers in about 30 minutes from now. Sorry for the late notice. I'll make a followup news post as well.
