I just ordered a Logitech G400, and I'm excited to go back to a Logitech mouse again as I really liked their MX518 a couple of years ago. Got a few questions, though.
I read older posts here on ESR saying that Logitech actually has some good drivers for their mice now. Assuming they've updated their software since then, is that still the case? Or should I use the default Windows drivers as was recommended for the MX518 back then?
The mouse can supposedly go up to 3600 DPI, which is most probably overkill and typical marketing bullshit. Is there some "magic" DPI setting I should use that, for example, provides the least amount of input lag? I'm running Win7 x64 and I intend to mostly play QL with it, if that makes a difference.
On that note, are there any specific QL settings I should change to optimally use this mouse?
Anything else I need to know? Thanks.
