Lets say a cup of coffee has 50mg of caffeine in it. After you drink it probably half that it burned away by your stomach acid. Now you're down to 25mg. After it passes through the intestines the kidneys/ liver you're probably only left with 5-10mg of caffeine that gets sent to the brain.

Now take that same cup of coffee and shove it up your ass (minus the cup itself of course)... and because of the physiology of the tissue in the buttsecks region the caffeine is absorbed directly into the bloodstream and also bypasses the liver and kidneys.... so you would probably be absorbing 80% of the 50mg.
