Max Payne 3 is on the same engine and runs pretty well. It might just be because of smaller maps and less things going on in the game though.

Best thing is the final mission not working on Quad Core CPUs because the port is so shit. It's a really really shitty port but still an awesome game.

the game uses quad core it was 360 port, 360 has 3 cores, dual cores run this game badly

finsihed the game now i have shitty gfx, just deleted the whole thing, if a game doesnt work i just delete it, no point sweating over upgrades, every id game works rage works, good to go.

quake 2 still works, best looking furutsutic fps, i dobt anyone would do any better soon, trhe n maybe i will actually would want a huge pirce of electronics inside a computer, even quakeworkld works no probs, too baD SO FEW PEOPLE PLAY IT

yeah i was kind of listening to console people bashing pc before, but after going through a ps3, having barely any games that i like 4 years into its life i have no clue whats worse, upgrading pc or having no games to play on consoles

also prices for games are rediculous, i live in russia and prices for console games are same as in usa, thats just idiotic

i understand it for things like gas but games, come on, average salary is like 4 times lower here

maybe its due to no region lock, fuck get that region lock just dont put a 50 dollar price on it

sometimes its worse i think its closer to like 80 dollars on new games

consoles are like a luxury gaming item in russia as it costs the same as highend pc and games are full retail price (something like 70-80 dollars for new games), pc games are much cheaper, due to piracy pressures they are are like 20 dollars for new games, but they put region lock on steam games, that seems much more fair than charging 70 dollars for new pirce of plastic with some software on it.

and to top it off games dont actually look any beetter on huge tv with horrible lag and 30fps on almost every game.
