The time I watched twister and DDK together DDK didn't do that or at least very rarely, best faceit combo ever imo.

LOL That's part of being a play by play castor you add those into the stream when necessary. From every vod I have watched that sort of thing occurs. Also twister tends to talk long winded. His thoughts need to be a little more detailed and concise and shorter, or it is hard for a good flow to occur between two castors.

It probably comes from not being a native English speaker.

I had the same problem before when i where doing a group assignment at the university. We were supposed to record a video introduction of our work, and it was supposed to be in English.

Nobody wanted to record the voice and i have never done voice acting before but i thought how hard can it be? In my mind i speak perfect English and i know how every word is supposed to be pronounced. But while recording i noticed that i didn't find the words at times and so on.
Then i listened to the recordings and it was just fucking awful! My pronunciation were terrible and and i dragged everything out instead of just saying the right thing. I find it rather easy to write in English so i wrote a script and followed it even to it was just two sentences long.

We did a new recording every week and after a while i got a lot better at pronunciation and also at finding the right word so i didn't need to write a script.

This is because normally i don't speak English with anybody. I don't know how much English Twister talk on a daily basis but it just takes some time before you kinda get into it and you start finding the right words. So before hew streams he should just talk as much English as possible with DDK or who ever is around.

Yeah agreed, I forget that a lot of the guests that come on Faceit don't speak English all the time so it is hard to string a thoughtful sentence together. I enjoy having the guest castors on the show because it always brings a fresh incite to the game which is interesting and obviously a crowd pleaser too.

I'm happy to see twister again because last time i wasn't able to watch the whole tourney.

Remove Toxicity and put Delirium in.

Faceit was supposed to change their map pool. We even had a vote on maps and everything!

I hope we aren't stuck with these maps until the next Quakecon forces us to use their new map pool.

Only "Source" and "Low" resolution options to choose from!!!? FFS so either unwatchable lag or unwatchable pixels??? When I didn't think twitch could get any worse, now you can't even choose a mid quality option to make it watchable... I just... #!%&*$@!?

also source quality is worse that 720p+ in previous cups...

On top of that, it looks like the 'source' resolution is really low (like 640 or something). It's pretty much unwatchable right now :C

If someone's using livestreamer, check out the 'mobile_high' quality. It's somewhat decent and lag-free for me.

i don't think they've set up correctly for the new twitch requirements, not sure though.

most of the time choosing "mobile_high" or "mobile_chunked" quality option in livestreamer helps greatly. today it has low fps, but no lags.

Probably in hopes it takes off. I don't think it will, though. But at least even today's low venue NA cup had more players than this tournament you link to.

oops, you're right. i didn't see that people played twice in the first round.

edit:16 for that tourney, but i'm positive it could easily outdo faceit NA if given an opportunity. the last $ cpm tourney had 50+ i believe, so a faceit cup should do well.
anyways, it's just something to consider(ddk/roychez)

The low turnout was probably because of the fact that it was Labor Day weekend here in the US in all honesty. I almost wasn't able to play either but managed to be able to make it.
