(16/12/1965 - 31/01/2014). He contributed to the community with his endless enthusiasm and love for the game by promoting TDM and making the game a more enjoyable and relaxed experience for everyone.
Fraggie was a dear friend to many of us. He spent all of his days on IRC and QL, where he tried his best to make people happy and chat, making friends and playing games, gathering people in his channel #cwn.tacs, which he affectionately called Clan with Noobs or Clan with Nice. I only had the pleasure of knowing Fraggie for just under a year, PM’ing daily, but many had been in this chan with him for 5 or more years, and even family members and real life friends from 20 + years ago would come and enjoy Fraggie’s wonderful, entertaining company and his funny ways. As FFT wrote in the comments, he had this funny way of calling you an ‘internet’ friend, and slowly dropping the letters as you gained his trust and friendship, before calling you a friend.
While Fraggie had been dealing with hardships for the majority of his life he took comfort and joy from the rich social circles he had gathered around him. He had the strength and positive outlook to cherish from the many friendships he had by always being cheerful and friendly, supportive and caring, gentle and kind, which in turn brightened up his own day. There wasn't a mean bone in his body.
He adored QL and his friends here in IRC; I know that he spoke to many of you in PMs as well as being a regular player in pickups, a friend to all and essentially a community icon in #tdmpickup and Quake Live.
Fraggie signed off as normal on Thursday evening, happy, after PMs and Teamspeak. He logged off with:
[23:21] <]OLD[Fraggie> NN cwn.tacs have to eat and sleep. yes sorry even i need it sometimesP)
We became increasingly worried when he didn’t return, as Fraggie had never missed a day on IRC. We called the police to his house on Monday.
The news that Fraggie had been found passed away was given to us at 5:38pm Monday. We have received confirmation that he died in his sleep, peacefully. 31/01/14.
I can only thank you, as it was his friends in IRC and QL that kept him going for so long, bringing him happiness, fun, and relief from his own problems. You all helped to make his time on IRC that much more enjoyable.
Fraggie (Peter) has finally found peace, something he hasn’t had for a long time, and desperately wanted. He affectionately called himself our Internet Father, and I like to think that he will be looking down over us and be proud. He loved IRC so much but not nearly as much as many of us in IRC loved him. Rest In Peace Fraggie our dear friend, you are already missed.

We had plenty of fun with quake together and even more so outside of it. Be it silly banter or trolling on the irc, casual chat on ts, 'serious' casting of high profile matches alongside a few beers.
The love he had for the game was only rivaled by his kindness and openness that I am sure everyone who came in contact with him can attest to.
He had this silly thing where he would call you an 'internet friend' but he quickly would drop letter by letter from the word 'internet' and soon enough acknowledge you as a friend. And we many of us lost a good friend with his passing.

You will be missed by many.
