Previously I've used different accels for different weapons (even different sens settings while shooting with the lg), same accel for all weapons (not really liked this) and after I replaced my old Icemat with a rather large frosted glass plate I tried to run without accel which didn't work very well for me.
So, for the last few weeks I've been trying out a new sens/accelsetup that I find nice, precision aim works really well aswell as flick shots and close quarter rockets etc. It feels like I'm not restricted in any way by size of mousepad / speed of mouse movement which I definately did before.
The setup I'm running atm:
Razer Abyssus @ 450dpi, Windows 7 6/11 (no accel/precision), large frosted glass sheet as mousepad.
Important sens/accel settings:
sensitivity 2.1
cl_mouseaccel 0.8
cl_mouseacceloffset 3.6 (acceloffset and senscap should be the same)
cl_mousesenscap 3.6
So with these settings I basically get two senses without accel in between. I haven't seen other ppl use this type of setup and im wondering if someone else has tried it out / is interested in trying it out.
Also, this is my first post here so be gentle on the possible flaming :p
