I am not sure if i upset you or something here. The only thing i wanted to clarify is that when people talk about the USSR they mean the Soviet union and when they talk about the Iron curtain they mean the countries that were under soviet control.

I'm not denying that they were similar and USSR constantly maintained a massive sphere of influence both indirectly (Polish strikes in the 1980s) through locally recruited apparatchiks and even going as far as interfering directly (Hungary 56, Czechslovakia 68) but at the same time the Warsaw pact countries did enjoy the limited freedoms which the people of the Soviet Union (whatever censorship of media (both state-goverened news sources and censorship of certain western films/books as well as general forms of populace control and "silencing of subcersives" the Warsaw Pact countries have had, the Soviet Union just went that extra step. Hell, the imports of certain Hungarian (et al) products were incredibely prestigious and complettely deficient in normal USSR retail circles, and needed to be acquired either through connections (Xd plz) or by people actually comeing back from travelling abroad for diplomatic, entertainment, sporting or tourism reasons.

Can someone explain what "king of the hill" means for this tourney?

If you win you get to the top of the imaginary hill, and you are then known as 'King of the Hill', when you're at the top you have to take on challengers to maintain your title as 'King of the Hill', if you lose then your victorious challenger takes your title.

fuck yeah daddy-o! good to see battleforged being played again...after the few rounds of changes a while back, it really is a good, balanced map for duel. will be interesting to see how cnz does on it vs. cypher, as the performance that sticks out in my mind is cypher absolutely destroying cooller on it back in 2010 (although in his defense, cooller didn't know the map).

in any case, i'm excited for a fun set of games today - CNZ, keep your head on straight and i think you've got a good chance...unless cypher is all in...then you're fucked :P
